Format: 72 Hole Scratch Medal (Open to any amateur golfer attached to an affiliated golf club with an official WHS Handicap Index)

The Midland Open Amateur Championship is now a Midland Order of Merit event with 150% points value available. The points  are for Midlands players only, players from outside the Midlands are not eligible for Midland Order of Merit points. Top 15 Midland players places will receive Order of Merit Points from 225 points for the Open Champion down to 15 points for 15th place.
