Title: Midland Senior Autumn Tournament                                                 

Format: 18 Holes scratch medal (Gross & Nett prizes)

Number of competitors: 80 to 100 (to be confirmed 3rd September 2018)

Starting Times: 08:00am (10-minute intervals with two starters times included)  

Tees: 1st only

Time course closed to members: Until 3.00pm

Open to Senior Amateur Golfers (55 and over) of the County Unions of Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire & Herefordshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire

CATERING

MGU will provide meal tickets for those players who have included for a meal within their entry fee.

Players Dinner – Two course hot meal

Bacon roll & coffee/Tea or a breakfast will be available on a Cash sale only.

 

DRESS REGULATIONS

Clubhouse: Smart casual. – No golf shoes, no waterproofs, no trainers, no head gear.

Course: Normal golfing attire. Tailored shorts with white sport socks.

 

MGU ADMINISTRATION

Locality of MGU registration desk: Spike bar.

Leaderboard display will be located in the dining room.

Course planners are available for £3.00 each

 

HEALTH & SAFETY

First Aid: Pro shop staff, duty manager, green keepers                                                   

There easy access for an ambulance to the course if required.

There a helicopter landing facility if required.

In the event of thunder and lightning the MGU have a klaxon and will take responsibility: MGU storm monitor & hand-held klaxons.  Club storm monitor and klaxons operated by Pro shop

 

CAR PARKING

There is a large car park available along with additional overflow parking if required.

 

THE COURSE

Tees to be used: White (on stones)

Pin positions will be set by the course manager - Sensible & playable.

Players will be provided with a pin position chart.         

Yardage Markers: Posts at 150 yards to centre of greens along with discs in the fairway at 200, 150 and 100 yards to centre of green

 

PRACTICE

Practice round are available for competitors at £15.00 each. Practice rounds not available until 1pm Monday and Tuesday, after 1pm Thursday and after 1pm Saturday and Sunday. Not available Wednesday or Friday. All to be booked direct through the Pro Shop.
